First-party analytics
The site records first-party pageview events on this website. The event includes the page path, title, referrer, viewport size, broad device category, timestamp, and a random session identifier. We use this to produce aggregate statistics such as pageviews, sessions, referrers, devices, landing pages, and bounce rate.
The analytics script does not run in the private admin area. It also stops when your browser sends Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control, or the local opt-out preference on this page.

Third-party services
Most visible media on the public site is self-hosted. Some links open third-party services such as YouTube, LinkedIn, podcast platforms, or your email client. When you open those services, they may receive information under their own privacy policies.
Managing storage
You can clear cookies, session storage, and local storage in your browser settings. Clearing the access cookie may sign you out of protected areas or the private admin area. Clearing local storage may remove an analytics opt-out preference, an unsent application copy, or unsaved editing changes if you use the private admin area.
